Original portfolio (BM): where the number is currently (before migration)
Destination portfolio (BM): where the number will be transferred to
Never delete the connection inside the CRM.
If you do that, you will lose all conversations โ and this action is irreversible.
After reconnecting the number:
Access Manage connection
Log in again with Facebook using:
Standard (Cloud API) or
Coexisting (Official API + Phone)
The number needs to be able to:
Receive SMS
Receive calls
Otherwise, thereโs a high risk of:
Verification failure
Number loss
Before migrating, confirm:
The Facebook account is without restrictions
The Business Manager (BM) is without blocks
There are no restrictions on the linked WhatsApp
โ If thereโs a problem:
It can prevent the migration
In the worst-case scenario, youโll need to go back to the original BM
Access the original BM
Remove all linked partners
Wait 3 minutes
Go to WhatsApp Manager
Click on Phone numbers
Select the number
Click the trash icon to delete
Wait 5 minutes
In the CRM, use the same connection
Connect with the new Facebook account / destination BM
Follow the same flow you used before in the connection
โ Do not delete CRM connection

๐ Check restrictions on the destination BM
โฑ Respect the waiting times (3 min / 5 min)
๐ Reconnect using the same flow taking advantage of the CURRENT crm connection (manage โ log in with facebook)
